Mighty Oaks Day Nursery & Preschool is conveniently located within the Bournemouth University Sports Campus, Chapel Gate, and near Bournemouth Airport, between Christchurch and Ferndown.
We provide excellent opportunities for children to connect to nature and the outside environment in all weathers and all year round within our 65 acres of beautiful woodland. We ensure the children fully explore our fields, woodlands and the many facilities offered by Bournemouth University, including the Astroturf pitches for improving physical development.
Our open-plan classroom for over 2s offers the children mixed age group interaction, independent play and real-life experiences. We offer free-flow on to our beautiful outside balcony area with a sandpit, water play, mark-making and construction. Our cozy under 2s room offers babies a calm and relaxed space to call their own where they can explore the vast range of resources, rest and sleep according to their needs and enjoy free flow access to the balcony also.
Because of our bespoke setup and location, we are able to offer the very best of the Early Years Foundation Stage and take inspiration from Forest School teaching and incorporate them both into one setting.
