Our nursery at Horsforth is based in a beautiful setting on the grounds of West End Lane Primary School. Established in 2004 in new purpose built accommodation, the Nursery provides the highest quality childcare to children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
As well as offering Forest School sessions in our local woodland, we also offer drama, sing and sign and other peripatetic sessions to ensure the children at our nursery have every opportunity to develop through all the languages of learning.
Our onsite chef produces a varied and delicious menu providing nutritious meals for the children and staff.
We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning along with a big emphasis to outdoor play. Our children lead all of their learning, we provide the environment and resources for them to thrive through their interests. The preschool children lead their learning by choosing to go into the local woods for a forest school session led by a qualified forest school practitioner or to the art studio to work on their interests or stay in the yurt and outdoor classroom.
We strive to have all of our staff qualified and our training manager supports them with their continuous professional development, to ensure we deliver a high standard of care.
