Something About Company
We have evolved from a childminding setting into a small nursery and are keen to ensure we stay true to our roots and maintain our flexibility and home from home feel. For this reason we offer flexible hours and continue to mix across the age groups, especially at meal times where we feel that the babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers can all socialise and learn from each other. We do have lots of space to split into interest groups when necessary and we provide a quieter, more homely space for the younger children, along with a separate sleep room and sensory room. We also see the value in getting out into the community and ensure that small groups have the opportunity to go on regular outings as well as welcoming educational visits to the setting.
Our vision is to create a place that feels like home, where children feel part of the family and know that they are loved, cared for, listened to and valued. Families feel comfortable and welcomed into a safe and non-judgemental environment and understand that their views and personal perspectives are not only respected but celebrated and included in our practice.
Our passionate, enthusiastic and qualified team plan responsively, in the moment, keeping the children’s unique interests at the heart of everything they do, expanding their play experiences and uplifting them to reach their full potential in all developmental areas.
