Employment Details
We are looking for both Full time and Part time experienced and Qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our expanding team.
Both full-time and part-time working hours available, shifts are 8 hours per day for a minimum 3 day week. Working hours are between the hours of 7.15am and 6pm.
We are a dedicated team with a passion for outdoor education. Caring for children from birth to 5 we have three rooms to support individual stages in development. We deliver exceptional learning experiences taking inspiration from the children’s interests.
The successful candidates should have a drive to work with children and an enthusiasm for the outdoors. We are passionate about our delivery of outdoor education and strive to provide learning opportunities within our natural surroundings.
Essential requirements:
Either a HNC/SVQ level 3 in a relevant childcare qualification is essential.
Experience of planning, observations and assessments as well as preparing and undertaking activities that support children’s learning and development.
Knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence, Pre-birth to Three curriculum, theorists and schematic play.
Experience in forest school teaching and outdoor education would be beneficial but not essential.
The ability to work on your own initiative as well as take part of a wider team.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
