Lottie’s Day Nursery are looking for a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our new nursery in Sidcup. We offer a range of unique experiences for young children and are looking for someone committed to providing high-quality childcare with enthusiasm, drive and a passion for early years.

Qualities required:

• Reliability
• Enthusiasm and Motivation
• Good verbal and written English skills
• Good team player
• Ability to work on own initiative
• A strong knowledge of the EYFS, OFSTED inspection criteria and the Statutory Framework

Qualifications and skills required:

• Level 3 in a Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent
• Good organisational skills
• Minimum of one year childcare experience in a nursery setting

Desirable qualifications:

• 12 hour Paediatric First Aid
• Safeguarding Training

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Providing the children with a safe and secure environment giving them a variety of experiences that promote their individual learning and development
• Working as a key person to a group of children
• Liaising with families and team members
• Observing children and planning for their needs
• Taking part in staff meetings and training
