West Point House Day Nursery are looking for a full time level 3 qualified Room Leader to work within our small day Nursery in Ilkeston. 40 hours per week

The person must be hard working, show initiative and creatively foster an environment in which children’s all round development is met. You must be able to work as a team and support staff.

You must be able to form good professional relationship with parents, children and help settle children into the room. You will also needs to complete and organising paperwork, day to day running of the room along side the Senior practitioner, provide activities that meet children’s developmental needs and follow routines etc.

They need to plan and provide activities for children which are fun and exciting but further their development and support their individual needs.

West Point House Day Nursery provide high standards of care for the children in our setting we are open 7am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

You must be aware of Safeguarding procedure and a DBS check will be undertaken.

Experience in a day nursery setting is required.
