We are hands-on parents and have other help in the home, but are busy, hence needing support. 

We are looking for a kind, gentle, relaxed, and intelligent person, with a happy and sensitive nature, who has good initiative and a natural enjoyment of engaging with children and babies. Also, an enthusiastic and confident cook with a love of cooking, and a genuine interest in nutrition and organics. 

As well as us all getting along well, reliability and commitment is key, as we would very much like for someone to feel like part of the family. We are looking for someone who is happy to potentially support with some early mornings and weekends.  

Responsibilities: 

Childcare 

• Spending time with our 2-year-old son both inside and out. Taking him on adventures and playing with him for both fun and learning (he loves all imaginary play, building things and learning about nature, foraging, reading and more). He also loves being helpful, so doing jobs together. 
• Spending time with our 4-year-old daughter after school. Reading and helping with homework. 
• Both shared and sole care 
• Taking care of more children when visiting 
• Bathing, nap times, changing nappies and clothing etc 

• Babysitting 
• Cooking for all the family sometimes 

Menu planning and shopping/ordering 

Some housekeeping and helping with household tasks  

Managing travel or driving and considering children’s needs and routine 

Necessary skills and experience: Minimum 2 years childcare experience 

First Aid for Children 

Current DBS check 

Fluent in English 

Driving with full licence 

Salary 

£35,000-£45,000 Depending on Experience
