As a Trainee Nursery Nurse, you will be part of a team and responsible for the safety and well-being of the children in your care. As a keyperson, you will be allocated a group of children within your room, where you will build secure relationships with them and their families. You will support each child’s individual needs, interests, and learning whilst providing effective interaction within a fun and stimulating environment that allows them to explore & discover!
Whilst carrying out your role, you will be learning as you go and provide with on-the-job training from fully qualified staff and senior team. You will also join our in-house training programme and work towards becoming a qualified practitioner.

Cherryfield was established in 2005. We are situated in Epsom, which is within walking distance from Epsom train station. We also have a large secure car park for staff. We are 91 place nursery rated Outstanding by OFSTED in 2019. We have 5 group rooms for children aged birth to 5 years which offers an opportunity for staff to work across all the different age groups within early years. We are a large and busy nursery with a good reputation in the local community and often being parents’ first choice for childcare. We have a team of around 25 staff in various roles, offering a wide range of training and experience whilst gaining a wealth of knowledge. Our extensive training programme and on the job support allow the staff of all abilities to progress in their role and grow their career within the childcare sector.
