An exciting position has become available for a Preschool manager

We are seeking an experienced, kind, passionate and dedicated Manager to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity for a manager who wishes to retain ‘hands on’ key worker responsibilities and lead a thriving term time pre-school.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

· To lead, support and develop our pre-school team to provide a safe, nurturing, happy, inclusive environment with high quality education and care for young children.

· To maintain our nurturing ethos where all children are treated as individuals, and learn, thrive, develop and achieve their potential.

· To be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the pre-school.

· To manage, supervise and support our pre-school staff.

· To fulfil the legal and statutory framework, ensuring Ofsted requirements are met.

· To be the Designated Safeguarding Officer, which includes attending relevant training, maintaining up to date knowledge, maintaining accurate and confidential records, escalating concerns, supporting colleagues, and sharing information on a need-to-know basis and working with the designated agencies.

· To work in partnership with the Management Committee of the pre-school.

· To build strong and supportive working relationships with parents and external agencies.

· To identify opportunities to further develop the pre-school.

Must have 2+ years experience running a preschool

Must have a Level 3 or higher in a recognised Early years qualification
